Ian is passionate about working with people experiencing pain, including chronic one.
Having studied the biology of pain at a graduate level, he enjoys helping patients understand factors contributing to pain, and navigating the healthcare system to obtain appropriate care.
Ian sees therapy as a collaborative process where each patient’s goals, lifestyle and preferences are prioritized to create a relevant and comfortable treatment. He likes to focus on thorough soft tissue work using a variety of techniques and provide practical self-care advice including self-massage, movement and stretching.
Outside of the clinic, Ian enjoys resistance training, Ergometer, and recreational volleyball. He is also pursuing a graduate degree in Clinical Sciences and collaborates on research.
